Ishaas is an Ambleside Indian restaurant run by six brothers, three of whom run the kitchen and three who handle front-of-house. It opened in April 2017 after a major three-month refurbishment programme which transformed the venue from its previous incarnation as Spice Of Bengal into a bright and spacious restaurant with a bespoke bar and a ‘city’ feel. It can comfortably seat up to 70 diners. The same attention to detail goes into the food with a wide choice of dishes presented in real style. There’s a good choice of wines too as well as speciality gins and vodkas. Ishaas is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week and does takeaway (collection only) at a 20% discount to the main menu prices.
