Simply the best Indian meal I've had, the owner appears to cook everything himself, to ensure it meets his exacting standards, and he likes to talk to his customers whenever possible.
You may have to wait a little longer for your food, but it's well worth the wait!

Outstanding Indian food-slightly slow service(was a very busy Saturday night) but only because all food cooked to order and well worth waiting for. South Indian Garlic chilli chicken-superb. At last have found an Indian restaurant on Teesside worth recommending. We will be back!

Have been regular's here for over 10 years. Food is fantastic. Best indian food we have ever tasted. His garlic naan bread is to die for. Bangla lager is very nice, a little pricey but worth it. Service can be slow as all food is cooked to order but it is well worth waiting for. A taste sensation. The best Indian restaurant in the North East. Jamal is an outstanding cook. The only problem...he is also the bar man, waiter, cleaner, accountant, bouncer and pot wash expert. The hilarity of the slow service only adds to the fun. If you?e in a hurry, don't go. Otherwise, this is the best restaurant in the world.
