visited in jan 08 was disgusted the place is freezing, was no one to meet and greet me and 1 person doing 2 bars? heard it was under new management i can believe this as i visited 3 yrs ago and was brilliant then. anyway no drinks menu when i asked the waiter what drinks they sold he couldn’t remember and said i would be best going to the bar. the food was of very poor quality and service slow due to hardly any staff. would never go again

We went to the Teesside retail park Kansas after recommendations. Everything was fine until we received our meals. They weren't as described on the menu. The children had southern fried chicken fillet, southern fried chips and salad. It turned up without any fries. They quickly sorted it but they were standard fries as they had no southern? The meals that were supposed to be Fajitas with beef ended up being a skillet with beef onions and peppers, nothing else. No floured tortillas or soured cream as in the menu? The Chilli beef bowl was excellent a shame they forgot to put the melted cheese on as in the menu as well. My husband who's birthday it was didn't want to cause any more fuss as it embarrasses him and it was his birthday after all i didn't want to upset him by complaining again, so the 3 fajita meals were eaten as beef sat in onions and peppers. All together we had a good time because the restaurant is nice but they should employ staff who know what the meals are!

I went to the Kansas a few years ago and was really impressed, they advertised that it was getting refurbished to Australian theme that was about 3yrs ago still waiting? anyhow i visited about 1 week ago and was very disappointed the place is freezing very dark and dingy, understaffed no one to meet and greet me, the food was expensive and of poor quality and the manager not very helpful. wont be going again. not alot for veggies.

This restaurant is by far the best in Teesside Park. It's been open for years 7 days a week, and have heard that it is going to be refurbished into an Australian theme, I can? wait!

I thought the food was excellent really good quality, the service was very good the waitress came and asked us about several times if everything was alright, atmosphere was good there was a TV with music videos for everyone who wanted to watch, they also reserve tables for you coming and if you mention it's your birthday or a relatives birthday they put balloons up at your table and can take them with you, also if you choose a dessert for your birthday they put sparklers in it for you it's really good they look after you very well. Overall I have been back to the bar + grill at least 7 times in the past 2 years for special occasions and I wouldn't really choose anywhere else to eat except there of course!!!
