Quite a few friends have recommended Karachi for great food and so we decided to try it. We were told not to expect much of the atmosphere as this is not a restaurant so we weren't particularly disappointed. Staff was very friendly, we have ordered starters and for the mains we went for R. Stein recommended specials - chicken karachi and chicken spinach karachi. I did try to enjoy it but maybe because I went for unknown, I did not enjoy the food at all. It was way to greasy, bearing in mind chicken thighs used for the dish are quite juicy and fat piece of chicken itself. It was also lacking flavour, which is rarely a problem when you eat indian food. I don't think it was worst indian I've had but I won't be rushing back, although staff and prices did not disappoint.

i have been going to karachi since i was seventeen and thats a long time ago i can tell you.....its the best one in Bradford or indeed the UK..i have friends from Southall London up here and the first place they want to go is here for a meal..5 stars and we don't give a ****** about the tables there great, part of the Karachi experience.

very basic surrounds but the food is excellent in 25yrs the food is still as good,brilliant value for money.

THE BEST RESTAURANT EVER. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS TRY THE FOOD, YOU WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE AGAIN. THE FOOD IS AMAZING, JUST LOOK AT EVERYONE WHO HAS WROTE A REVIEW THEY SAY THE SAME.
I KNOW THERE ARE OTHER RESTAURANTS OUT THERE, LOOKING GOOD AND HAVE LOVELY DECOR, IS THAT WHAT WE REALLY GO FOR. NO NO NO, ITS THE FOOD AND THIS PLACE HAS IT ALL. TRY IT, I DID AND HAVN'T STOPPED GOING FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS. THE BEST RESTAURANT EVER AND THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY TOO. I WISH GOD MADE MORE LAND SO THESE PEOPLE COULD MAKE ANOTHER ONE OF THESE RESTAURANTS. THINK OF ME WHEN YOU GO !!!!!!

I have been going to the Karachi for 25 years and never had a bad one, i even bring my boy's with me and friends they also love it, i have tried lots of different curry houses but none will ever beat this one.

Basic Meat or Chicken Curry used to be 90p when I first went. Don't stray from these if you want the amazing flavour that brings you back time and time again. Unfortunately, I have not been as regular over the last few years as on resent occasions the flavour slips to that of a normal Curry you can get anywhere. I don't order my take aways until I have tasted my sit down meal. If its good i get a few and take them home after all its a 30 mile round trip. Still the best curry place ever.

Always enjoy going to Karachi - even if on my own for a cheap and easy lunch if working in Bradford.
Its Bobby basics interior, simple service and no cutlery offered policy is just right.
For a salad, starter, main course and 3 chapattis expect to pay little more than a fiver.

Came with 6 Chinese and 4 Pakistani colleagues from Manchester for Xmas lunch. All praised the quality of the food and expressed pleasure in finding a restaurant where the food was priority. I have been coming for over 20 years...as good as it has always been.
