We have just had a wonderful evening and dinner at 'The Kitchen' in Polperro, Cornwall. Terrific food, excellent service, lovely atmosphere. A memorable dinner with my husband and 2 grown up daughters.

The best place to go for lunch in South East Cornwall. They have been up for several awards and have recently been awarded silver by taste of the west, when you go you'll see why.
I can't rave on enough about the food, generous helpings and tasty too. There is a really homely atmosphere not just in the food but in the service as well. The theme is Cornish and it is all homecooked. The High Tea is a real experience!!!
You don't have to book but the place is often full of regulars so it may be best to avoid disappointment.
