About Kobe Pan Asia

Cosy and intimate, Kobe Pan Asia is a beautifully appointed restaurant in Uppermill, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Expect exposed brick walls, stripped wooden tables, discreet lighting and a delightful al fresco area for when the weather permits. The menu offers an extensive selection of carefully crafted sushi, sashimi, fish and meat dishes based on southern Japanese flavours and paired with recipes and ingredients from around Asia. Kobe Pan Aisa is open from 5pm, Wednesday to Sunday.

Food was great, service was attentive and the price was reasonable. The atmosphere was a little quiet but I think this was because on Friday night, Storm Claudia was in full flow so people had stayed in (all of Uppermill was quiet).

What an amazing little restaurant. We had such a nice meal there on a Friday night. The service was really friendly, the food was perfect, the suggested wine was spot on and the live music made the atmosphear really cosy. All in all a great find.

Absolutely brilliant Sushi, everything we ordered tasted amazing. The restaurant atmosphere was also lovely for a Saturday evening, with a fire and live music. Service was great. I also love you can order champers by the glass unheard of most places!

Love this place! Excellent food served by friendly, attentive staff. Great atmosphere with good music. Cocktails are wonderful - I loved the cherry blossom! Really good portions and value for money. Wish I could go more often!

Special meal out for a birthday, the food was delicious and the portion size just right. I enjoyed the bao buns and soba steak, husband chicken skewer and sea bass, all very good. Short but good wine list and good service.

Had a fabulous meal for my Husbands birthday, despite them not finding my online booking until I showed then the confirmation and reminder emails!! Lovely place, food is delicious and waiting staff were very friendly and professional.

What a fantastic evening we had (me, my husband and 15 year old daughter). Food was surprisingly good for a small village, restaurant is a lovely modern setting. The blonde lady waitress we had was so knowledgeable and passionate about the food and super efficient. We tried eel (gorgeous) and unusual dishes and they were all delicious. Felt it was really good value for such high quality and unusual food. We will be back and would highly recommend.
