We have been to La Casa de Salsa about four times since it opened and have always enjoyed the food and the experience. On our most recent visit however, the food was very disappointing, so sadly we will not be returning.

The wine was extremely palatable and served at a good temperature, the waitress was well presented pleasant and helpful albeit she didn't have a knowledge of some of the dishes content and surprisingly the chef was unable to give her the information either!. However the food lacked lustre as although a couple of the dishes eg. the slow cooked lamb were tasty the majority were poorly presented, tepid and some eg the gambas were overcooked. Sadly overall it was mediocre, at the best, and not an experience I would choose to repeat.

Great place, good food, unfortunately moved out to their other restaurant in Horwich, a very pleasant member of staff called Andy. He was so helpful and thoughtful, he helped to make the place. I do hope he comes back.

The staff are great the food is fantastic and of an unusually high standard for a restaurant with a set price for as much as you can eat. My daughter aged 7 got extra special treatment which she loved and now she always wants to eat there.I highly recommend it for both meat eaters and veggies.

Visited with family members, wide choice of delicious dishes,very helpful service and reasonable bar prices, will definitely go back and highly recommend
