About La Mezzaluna

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 12 noon until 9pm, La Mezzaluna is just a stone’s throw away from the station, right in the heart of Carlisle. It’s an atmospheric venue that can seat up to 45 diners and offers a traditional Italian menu with a good selection of pizza, pasta and risotto dishes alongside beef, chicken and fish main courses as well as some delicious desserts. Coffees, wines, cocktails, spirits and beers are available to accompany your meal. La Mezzaluna also has a full takeaway and delivery service.

Never, ever had a bad meal in all the years I’ve visited - truly the best Italian in Carlisle. The staff are always so lovely and attentive, the food is always delicious and fantastic value for money, and the restaurant itself is so cozy and intimate. Every time I go I always have the chocolate fudge cake for pudding - it is to die for!

Another fantastic meal last night, Steak cooked rare and perfect and the salad is so fresh and tastes beautiful. Really cannot fault this restaurant and the staff are all really nice and attentive. Would highly recommend.
