About La Perla
La Perla is a new Spanish restaurant and tapas bar housed inside the old Roman Baths. It's next door to sister venue Opa , the Greek restaurant and nightclub, and if you dine at La Perla you get a priority queue jump ticket for the club. La Perla has two entrances with the main one down steep stone steps into the atmospheric cellar and champagne area with barrels and wine glasses set into the walls. Wine tastings are sometimes held here. The restaurant itself is built into the Roman arches and there is an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs at work. The modern Spanish menu includes lots of tapas dishes as well as choice of paellas. Fish dishes are also a speciality and feature prominently. La Perla also has a small outside seating area with heaters, parasols and a small waterfall.Write a Review
