We enjoyed our daytime home made snacks here that we booked for an evening meal - again home made, and we weren't disappointed

Four of us visited The lakeland Cellar on January 16th 2007 on a day trip to Carlisle. We booked on the Telegraph offer of two courses for £5. We had a choice of six different delicious soups, there was also a Prawn starter or Pate and a choice of six different main courses. We couldn't fault anything. The place itself is like a country kitchen with a large black range fireplace, it was very friendly and is only 300 yards from the railway Station.
