A delightful find, we are a group of ladies who find this an inviting place for morning coffee, light lunch or a full meal. Food good homemade fare sizable portions and wonderful homemade scones and cakes. The staff have always been very polite and welcoming. This is our first port of call when we visit Southport.

The food was good but we were asked to move to another table whilst we were having tea/coffee with no real apology given for the inconvenience this caused. Shortly afterwards, the bill was plonked down on the table, though we had not asked for it. We took the hint, although we were still drinking the tea/coffee and paid it, the waitress advising us that it was busy Saturdays and they needed the table! The attitiude of the waitress who served us and asked us to move was not good and we won't be visiting there again, needless to say.

Langtry's is a delightful little restaurant tucked away in a quiet side street and well worth seeking out. Cosy atmosphere, delicious traditional home cooked food, generous portions, friendly service - it's perfect for a hearty lunch or afternoon tea. Desserts to die for - you won't be disappointed!
