They say this pub has the best view in the Peak District and having spent an hour in their beer garden over the Bank Holiday weekend it would be hard to argue. It was a welcome stop-off on a circular walk from Bakewell and although we didn’t eat here there were big queues for the buffet-style selection (and the bar). They needed more staff but to be fair it was absolutely glorious weather so every man and his dog was out and about.
