About Lymefield Garden Centre Tea Room

Tucked away in the countryside east of Hyde, the Lymefield Garden Centre Tea Room offers a charming rural retreat where visitors can drop in for hearty breakfasts, leisurely lunches, traditional afternoon teas and generous slices of home-made cake. Seating is inside and out (when weather permits) with views across the fields of Lymefield's working farm to the woods on the banks of the River Etherow. The menu makes the most of the fresh produce from their on-site butchers, deli and farm shop and the tearoom is fully licensed. Popular with walkers, families and shoppers alike, it’s a relaxed, friendly spot that makes the most of its scenic setting.

Excellent as always. Delicious food and fabulous service. Especially enjoy seeing local produce being used. Thank you. The only down side (it isn't really), is that I end up spending more money on plants too! These are always good quality and the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable Thank you.

Have been here a couple of times recently. It’s a lovely place to visit, great views while you eat. The food is delicious and portions are generous. I had the fisherman’s platter with two types of smoked salmon, mackerel pate, prawns and very tasty fresh bread and butter. My friend had the Lymefield platter - a cheese and meat lover’s delight! The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Definitely would recommend a visit, but avoid the temptations in the shop! I guarantee you won’t come out without buying anything!

I've been Lymfield three times now, once for Afternoon Tea for mother's day, and twice for breakfast, and it has never not hit the spot. I have enjoyed it each time and left full and fulfilled. Service is fast, food is great, and the view outside while eating always brings a sense of peace! Thoroughly recommend here

Service was ok from the staff , the English breakfast was disappointing, especially the sausage and bacon, sausage undercooked and bacon appeared to have been warmed up or kept warm, sorry to say we won’t be returning anytime soon.
