About Lymefield Garden Centre Tea Room

Tucked away in the countryside east of Hyde, the Lymefield Garden Centre Tea Room offers a charming rural retreat where visitors can drop in for hearty breakfasts, leisurely lunches, traditional afternoon teas and generous slices of home-made cake. Seating is inside and out (when weather permits) with views across the fields of Lymefield's working farm to the woods on the banks of the River Etherow. The menu makes the most of the fresh produce from their on-site butchers, deli and farm shop and the tearoom is fully licensed. Popular with walkers, families and shoppers alike, it’s a relaxed, friendly spot that makes the most of its scenic setting.

Has always the meal was spot on,think we are eating more at lymefield than we do at home.the service is really good and the girls do it with a smile on their face(can’t be easy when dealing with the public).might try the chilli baked potato next visit.
Saturday Lunch
We have been before but not on a Saturday. The food was very good took a bit longer as it was very busy. Soup was very nice and tasty. We both had soup and a sandwich. One thing I would say the soup needs to be hotter when served.

Saturday, 1pm. We waited 48 minutes for our sandwich and platter. We appreciate that it was v. busy but even the waitress volunteered to us to chase the order. So I've been mean with my "Service" score but this does not reflect on the waitress who served us

Been three times now for afternoon tea and everyone has been spot on. We are going to try the normal menu next time, but I don’t want to even try an afternoon tea anywhere else as I love these ones, and the mini quiches are out of this world.
