Visited the mailcoach and have to say I was extremely disappointed with the dark gloomy atmosphere..waiting staff were attentive and pleasant...food was served quickly and was of a good standard..but what appalled me the most was the managers attitude to customers(not very many) and.to the waiting staff...first visit since new manager took over...we will NOT be back...

The meal at lunch today was not of a great standard, the starter of bruscetta was nice, but what followed for my wife was awful it was refrigerated fish, and the steak pie I had was stew with a puff pastry, we were considering booking the restaurant for Christmas dinner but after that I'm afraid there will be no chance of that, the service was good I have to say both guys were very nice 3 out of 10

Had birthday celebration here and was delighted with the evening.
Well prepared, well presented and well priced food.Waiting staff friendly and attentive.I have now booked an anniversary meal there.Tricia.

I recently ate here with a group of 8 (mixed ages), there was something for everyone on the fixed price menu. Particularly enjoyed the Mexican Chicken which was on the Special's Board! Lovely creamy sauce, not too spicy. Waitress very pleasant and Manager approached us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Very well looked after here. Had the Banana & Toffee Cheesecake which was tasty and well presented. Set-menu good value for money. I have already booked my next meal!

Great evening meal at this place.
Varied menu, we were a party of 6 and there was something for everyone. The kids chicken tenders were amazing, real chicken with fresh batter.
Desserts reasonably priced and good size portions compared to lots of other places I have eaten.

Staff pleasant and service good.
Seems to have been re-decorated, very cosy, nice atmosphere. Much better than previous visit last year.
Toilets very clean, always a plus.
Would eat there again.

Had a lovely meal in the Mailcoach. Food was tremendous, price was extremely cheap and the service is very friendly. Would highly recommend this for food.
