My mum and dad have visited this restaurant numerous times for its fantastic service and delicious food. This was my first time at 'Diya' and walking upto the restaurant I was very impressed by the striking stylish Exterior. Inside we waited for our seat on some very posh chairs (as seen in the pics) and then we were taken to our seats.
The calm atmosphere and nice decor made this an enjoyable place to eat and when the food arrived I was so full, but couldn't stop eating! The waiters would keep making sure everything was OK and kept the drinks flowing which was fantastic.
If you haven't tried this restaurant, you really are missing out!

Ate here on Saturday and not sure if they had run out of spices but the food was a little bland. Wife had something with three chillis next to it on the menu and it should have had one while I had the Naga chicken which had chilli in but had never seen Naga and was definitely not a four chilli hot dish.
The restaurant was also very cold and we were moved once which didn't improve the situation. Also the service was poor as food was only brought when everything was complete so while we chatted over beer an poppadoms no food arrived until the last crumb of poppadom was gone.

good food and service but whole night ruined by screaming toddlers who should have been in bed. unable to conduct a normal conversation. Selfish and thoughtless parents displaying total disregard for other restaurant useres. Wont be dashing back there in a hurry.

Went to this restaurant in January and despite good food, found the restaurant freezing cold. Decided to give it another go on Sat 1st May. Pleasantly surprised. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent and the restaurant lovely and warm. Will be paying a visit more often.

I have been really impressed by the standards set by this restaurant. I was impressed with the layout of this particular restaurant. The party room is the most attractive place through out the restaurant. The food is also if a very high standard...................
I definitely recommend this place to others.....................

This place only opened 2 days ago so i thought we would give it a try. The name is a curious choice considering what happens after food poisoning. However we were very impressed with the food, service and ambience. The owner is a real character and is an asset to this business. He is keen to forge links with the Lytham Community and I am sure he will. The benchmark for me for a good Indian cuisine is a Chicken Jalfrezi. If this dish meets expectations then the rest normally does. My Jalfrezi was served in a sizzling balti dish which gave the sauce its excellent rich flavour and the meat was cooked to perfection. Our sides were good however the Lentil side order lacked substance as was more like a soup. My partner was also impressed with her pathia which was hot, sweet and sour at the same time. The ambience is contemporary and apparently the ladies toilets are something special? They have a private dining room which I will be organising a party to fill. A welcome addition to the burgeoning Lytham dining scene!
