About Master McGraths

Located on the main road from Ormskirk to Southport, Master McGraths is an immensely popular destination restaurant and bar famously named after the Irish racing Greyhound who won The Waterloo Cup three times in the 1800s. Run by Master Chef of Great Britain Jim Sines and wife Trudy, both passionate about hospitality, the cooking of Jim and his team is the draw here. The menus offer something for everyone whether popping in for a light lunch, romantic meal for two or a lengthy family meal. With weekly changing 'Market Specials' and everything possible made in house from scratch, the main menu showcases the finest local and seasonal ingredients; fresh fish from Fleetwood and locally reared Aberdeen Angus, this is definitely a foodie outpost. Open for food Monday-Friday 12-2.30pm and 5-9pm. Saturday 2-9pm and Sunday 12-8pm.

Visited early doors on a Friday evening, wasn’t too busy. We were able to go to the table straight away & our request for an accessible table had been noted as my Mum uses a walker. The food was first class & again requests were noted. During our meal we were asked if everything was ok … it was excellent. We were asked if we were visiting for a special occasion, we were there for my 60th birthday, my dessert was presented with a candle & round of happy birthday! Special touch, thank you ladies!!! Always enjoy visiting Master McGraths

1st time visiting and wow the food was absolutely incredible the mushy peas were the best. Atmosphere was lovely and peaceful but maybe bit of background music if being really picky. we were not pestered to give take back despite being there for nearly 3 hours. Waiters and waitresses gave you time between courses which alot of places do not. Absolutely gemstone of an establishment which I will visit again very soon

Family meal on the 14/03/25, excellent food and friendly atmosphere. The fish, chips and mushy peas were cooked to perfection and only cost £12. Will definitely be visiting again soon
