I went to Milan on Friday night with my girlfriends. We had fantastic cocktails in the bar area, they were gorgeous. We then shared many tasty tapas dishes in the comfortable bar area. All of us had a brilliant night and will now be doing it regularly. Definitely recommend Milan to everyone, especially the cocktails and tapas in the bar section.

My sister was 18 last weekend and we went to Milan for a meal for her birthday. The evening was great and the fact that we were allowed to decorate the table ourselves and bring a birthday cake made the event all the more special. The waiters even brought the cake out with candles lit and sang happy birthday to my sister. Not only that, but the food was very well done; especially as there were 18 of us. The order was taken perfectly and there were no mistakes made which is all too common in other restaurants. We enjoyed the fantastic cocktails at the bar before sitting down and going back to the bar after the meal really made it feel like an 18th birthday party. I would recommend Milan for any parties as the waiters really know how to make it a fun night and with the bar area as it is its fantastic for a party atmosphere!

Went to Milan for Christmas lunch yesterday and was pleasantly suprised after reading a few bad reviews..the food as cooked to prefection and served hot, not luke warm I requested a prawn cocktail to start which wasn't included in the set menu and they obliged - it was delicious. The tiramisu for dessert was light as a feather. Will hopefully go therir e again Christmas Day 2013!

i ate there with a friend two weeks ago, the staff were amazing as was the food , the atmosphere was fantastic i think due to the band playing in the background, very pleased and will deffinatley be eating there again, enjoyed it that much i,m having my 50th there in july....

We regularly visit the restaurant and have always found the staff friendly, bubble, very polite and helpful. We take friend and family to this venue a lot. Business meetings and other occasions. Management,bar staff and waiters/waitresses are all very professional and polite. Always welcoming. One of the best Italian restaurants outside of the city centre. Local to home and great food, recommend the steaks or lamb, falls off the bone. Bernie, Brian and all the staff are great. See you again soon..looking forward to the refurb bar area. Colin Mills . Me and my wife regular visit Milan's and can say it is one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever been to. There is a wide choice of selection, food is fantastic and the service is great We have travelled all over Italy and can honestly say the food here is on par on anywhere we have ever visited. We enjoy it that much we had a family meal of 26 people on the same weekend as valentines and the service was still excellent and we did not feel rushed. Everyone said they enjoyed it that much that they would all go back again.

We took 14 people on our staff Christmas night out on Friday 17 Dec, busiest night for christmas do's! Everywhere we have been previously in Manchester the service was bad and the food was not brilliant but the prices were high. First time at Milans but it will certainly not be the last, absolutely brilliant. Service second to none. Food fantastic. The staff were so professional from the manager to the waitress they could not do enough. I am so happy that I am able to share my experience through this website because if a restaurant can look after 14 people on one of the busiest nights of the year I want to shout it from the rooftops. Thank you to everyone at Milans for our best night out ever. Well done we'll be back!

Forget the negative reviews just get along to Milan on a Monday night . Excellent food, well presented , helpful & pleasant staff and all for just £15 for any two courses off the a la carte menu. Must be one of the best offers in Manchester. We had Goats cheese starter ( memorable) and strip steak. Followed by Fillet stake Rossini and sea bass. Perfect.

My sister being over from Switzerland we decided to try Milan, despite the bad reviews. We we found the staff attentive, friendly and the food excellent. We were not alone, there were quite a few other diners in at the same time and all seemed to be having a great time. We went early as my daughter had her little son, aged 2, with her and had no problems at all
