About Molesworth Arms

The Molesworth Arms has been welcoming people to Wadebridge since the 16th century and is today a modern and stylish pub, restaurant and hotel located in the heart of the town. It retains many original features as well as a rich history of hospitality to enjoy in any of three distinct dining areas – the original pub, the Boatyard which serves premium local steaks and seafood and the Courtyard for al fresco dining. Or you can try their Italian restaurant Bellini's which is just 100 yards away. The Molesworth Arms has an extensive choice ranging from pub classics, fish dishes, steak on a stone and daily specials and is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner every day. There are also 18 rooms if you fancy staying over, all ensuite and recently refurbished to a high standard.

We were on holiday and booked a Sunday roast for 2. Fantastic service food and atmosphere. If we are in the area in future will absolutely be back. Thankyou.

Had an excellent meal over the Bank Holiday weekend. Table of 7 and even though they were very busy we got excellent service - special mention to Claire & Danno. Catered to all tastes including a vegetarian and one guest with a nut allergy. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be back.
Margaret Smith
Very nice pub with excellent food and lovely friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed our lunch there and would definitely return if in the area.
Luca
The service was the best thing of our experience. Food was overall good even with an ample margin of improvement. The atmosphere was kind and simple. A particular mention for the kindness of the young waiter who always kept her smile during all her service. Brava!!!

Although we were late, the staff were unflappable. We four were served generous and nicely presented meals in a relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely choose the Molesworth again.

Sunday lunch for three adults - superb tasty roast, very good portion size, lots of veggies plus sides of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets if needed. Especially helpful on my allergy. The sweets were delicious. No hesitation in recommending and returning.

Had a meal here 29/6/2026 been here often , but felt a little under whelmed if i am honest , i had fish and chips , pretty tasteless , staff were lovely atmosphere was ok . Menu has been cut down i was looking forward to muscles but no longer on the menu and desserts at £9.95 were ridiculous for a lemon meringue, cheescake and two other lack lustre choice
Paul
The steak on a stone is the best steak I’ve ever had. All the food is excellent. Great drinks selection. The staff are very friendly, attentive and welcoming. I could not recommend this place highly enough. It is fantastic in all areas.
