I feel I must share my experience this evening with people who are looking to go out in Plymouth. As a visitor I went along to the Bombay Brasserie - which I had been recommended.
After waiting 40 minutes for the main course - we tucked in (despite the staff failing to bring an ordered nan bread after 2 times of asking) and to my horror I had been served chicken which was totally uncooked on the inside. This was sent back and I politely declined an offer of a new meal.
I tried not to cause a fuss - but the staff expected our party to pay in full minus the cost of my uncooked meal.
Safe to say, I will never be returning - please be warned.

Very nice decor and very spacious and I'm afraid that's about it. Oh no there was something else there was no service charge which was just as well as the service was diabolical. Starter and main course took over 40 minutes to arrive. Mulagatawnny soup was like a mild tasty tomato soup, the main course was cold and the coke was flat. This restaurant has to rate (food wise) as the worst I have dinned in, will not be returning. The evening was meant to be a send-off for my nephew who was joining the RAF the next day, still it will be an evening he will remember, but for the wrong reasons!!!!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. We were in a large group of 20, the restaurant were accommodating in every way. It seated 150 and so we had plenty of space. They set the table out very nicely, when we ordered they helpfully took our names with the order so payment was quick and easy! This was brilliant as usually when going to a restaurant in a large group sorting out payment is a pain. The food was lovely. It was also so helpful that we did not have to choose from the menu beforehand. A fantastic meal and very accommodating, we will go back again definitely.

when i saw it,i noticed how bright and clean it looked so I booked a table.
we duly arrived and were greeted by friendly staff who asked our table preference and showed us to it.the inside decor is very warm and airy unlike most Indian`s with nice clean toilets
the service was fast, knowledgeable and attentive,we were shown much respect and with no hurry.
when it came to the bill after fine food and large measures. We expected a big bill but were pleasantly surprised
We will definitely be going again.
We live in Plymouth and welcome a good restaurant and this certainly is one
