We had a lovely meal at the Mote We had the soup to start which was delicious & served with plenty of fresh bread and for our main course we had the fish & chips which again was delicious. The service was excellent served by very attentive & polite staff, the atmosphere was great we had a perfect evening & a wonderful time to end to our holiday in Cornwall.

The food was lovely, but the service was extremely slow . It took nearly 3 hours to have our 3 course meal with only 2 rounds of drinks as they were too busy to ask if we wanted anymore. I had to go to the bar to ask for a desert menu. This was a shame as the food is good.

What a superb restaurant, we ate at 6pm on a Sunday evening, 2 adults and our daughter in a wheelchair that doesn’t eat. Staff were accommodating, friendly and very hospitable. Despite being holiday makers we felt extremely welcomed! Would highly recommend, portions were also very generous Thankyou, perfect anniversary dinner

Absolutely amazing as usual, food and service can’t be faulted and they made everything extra special for my birthday, couldn’t be happier with how it all went. Thank you to the whole team, you’re all amazing and I can’t wait to be back

Had a fabulous meal and service in this restaurant. I had seafood linguine and my partner had as he described it the most amazing steak.

Somewhat disappointed having booked to eat here for our anniversary. Was looking forward to the mussells only for the waitress to come back after 5 minutes to say they had run out. I opted for the seafood linguine instead albeit this would also now be without mussells! Although there wasn't a mussells dish as a starter on either the main menu or specials, the table next to us seemed to have not one but two starters of mussells served to them, made me question if this was why you had run out!? Sadly worse was to come when due to "a mix up in the kitchen" and our "ticket not printing" we found ourselves waiting over 90 minutes for our starters to be served! The staff were very apologetic and in fairness did not charge us for the starters or our bottle of wine but it put somewhat of a downer on our special night. Once it arrived the food was tasty and well presented although my seafood linguine appeared to be primarily king prawns and little else. Having waited so long though I just ate it and enjoyed it for what it was as I feared raising any concern would only lead to a further delay. The staff were hard working and had it not been for the delay overall we would have had a pleasant evening.
