Nice restaurant. They were very accommodating when I emailed looking to book the window seat before we arrived. Visiting from Ireland. Food was lovely. Staff very nice.

Charming restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Food underwhelming, tasteless and overpriced on the whole. Left feeling disappointed after high expectations. Staff friendly and efficient.

The Mote is my favourite restaurant in Port Isaac, and never fails to deliver a superb evening. The menu is small enough to be high quality but big enough to always find something of interest. Staff are superb with a great attitude and make the place feel welcoming and alive. I’m a frequent visitor and plan to keep it that way

Beautiful pub, with super friendly staff. The choice of seafood was excellent washed down with a well selected New Zealand Sauvignon

Really lovely fresh meal and great service, lots of choice and the fish specials were great

Not as good as previous years. The service wasn’t great, think they were understaffed as constantly rushing around. It would be good to have a ‘no dogs’ area. As someone with serious allergies it’s not great having someone else’s dog right at your feet while you’re trying to enjoy your meal. The food was good but overpriced. Was not informed about the menu changes until I went to order. Probably won’t return which is disappointing as this seems to be our ‘go to’ when we return to port Isaac

We stayed in Port Isaac for a week and ate at The Mote three times. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent and with several new specials on each night the choice was amazing. Would absolutely recommend for seafood lovers.

Fabulous experience from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was lovely inside, had a really good vibe, pleasant welcome & attentive staff. Food was delicious, starters of mackerel pate & fish cake, mains of mussels & steak followed by dessert.. Would definitely recommend a visit & will be back.
