John and I visited 03/03/13. John had the Sunday roast and I had the hot pot which was freshly prepared. Quality,Quantity and price was excellent. The sweet was a real treat - The Big One a selection of ice creams cream etc. May be the price of two sweets but well worth it to share. Would highly reccommend all to visit. A walk along the promanade just off the town centre and a meal at the Mount Public House is the reward. We shall be re visiting again in the near future. Derek.

Have had 3 really tasy meals here whilst staying in Fleetwood this week.. Very good value for money and the meals are superb. Not small portions either especially the burgers. The children's menu could do with Pizza and a mild curry addin to it but all in all superb.

We have been going in the Mount since Kev and his girlfriend took over and we have come to the conclusion that its one rule for one and another rule for others. Sally needs to get some childrens costomer service training as she isn't very nice to children. And also sally and kev argue in front of costomers which isn't very nice to hear. The pub was far better when Linda was there. So we will not be going in anymore, No loss

My better half and I got a little lost and ended up in Fleetwood (nice little coastal town). We searched around a few restaurants (one was charging £22 a plate, we assume they were having a laugh). In the end we chose The Mount over The Euston nearby and we were so glad we did. It has all the charm that corporations try so hard to mimic, really spacious and the staff were really helpful. It had loads of secluded spots so we didn't have to eat looking at anyone else (I like privacy but didn't expect it, was lovely to get it). We ordered a ranch burger (for her) and a Steak & Ale pie for me. The chips are standard pub chips nothing special but the burger was lovely. The bap was soft like it had just been bought for the bakers, not one of those cheap ones. The burger was delicious. I kept stealing some from my missus when she wasn't looking. My pie was great, really beefy and tasty, the pastry was good and I got veg with it. The thing was we must have paid about £10 and we got the biggest portion sizes I've ever seen. I kept stuffing my face even after I knew I had to stop cos of the pain in my stomach! My girlfriend was in hysterics watching me gorge on the food. Naturally we left a tip and wouldn't go anywhere else if we were in fleetwood. Also they had some nice cider with raspberry thing... looked like rose wine but was really gorgeous. Oh yeh and the pub looks out on the bay too so you get a great view if you want it too. This is one of two places I would take family that I know of on the Fylde (other is a Chinese).

The other day, I got the best burger I have ever had in my life from here. The portion sizes were big and the price was low. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend paying this place a visit if you are in Fleetwood, it might be a few minutes walk from the town centre but it is worth it every time,
