About Mumbai Tiffin Room

Mumbai Tiffin Room on Chorlton’s Barlow Moor Road reflects the cosmopolitan cookery scene of the bustling Indian port city of Mumbai. Head Chef and Founder Pancham Singh started his culinary journey aged just 14 on a Mumbai tea stall and went on to work in prestige kitchens across the world. Here at MTR he brings together street food and dishes from across the Subcontinent as well as some Indo-Chinese specialities too. Vegetarians and carnivores are both well catered for and the restaurant is fully licensed as well as offering a takeaway delivery and collection service. Open for lunch too at weekends.

My partner and I went for dinner on Friday evening, it was an accidental find actually, and so glad we did, the service was really friendly and efficient and the food ...excellent. We both had a lamb curry this time, and can't wait to go back and try the other tasty offerings on the menu!
