Try the daily buffet (12 - 2, including Sunday). It's the best value at 7.95 around this region and the staff (especially Kamal if he's there) can't do enough for you. The a la carte menu is Keralan (southern Indian) and quite different from your run-of -the-mill Indian restaurant. Try also the sister restaurant in Burgess Road Southampton, 2 mins from Southampton University main campus - mosala dosa, an exquisite rice pancake with gorgeous veg filling (suitable for veggies and probably vegans too).
