Visited here on Saturday 4th August for an 80th birthday party, party of 12 people. The food was extremely good but will never go again on a Saturday evening, as we were not told that there was a very loud, cheesy disco on and it was impossible to have any conversation whilst eating. Even the waiters were having problems in hearing our order. Had we been told that there was a disco on when we booked this table - explaining that it was for an 80th birthday, we would not have booked. Spoiled our evening out. Never again on a Saturday night!!!

I attended the Beatles tribute night at £25pp which included a 3 course meal, delicious as always! We had a party of 12 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. One of our party was vegetarian and they were extremely well catered for. The service was second to none, the staff were efficient, friendly and cheerful. We have booked again for the Blues Brothers in March and also for Show Time in April and can't wait!!!!

Had a great meal here, we had the two course meal which was only £9.50 which was good. I had a vegetarian option, hot and sour soup followed by satay tofu which were both delicious. My husband spring rolls which he was very pleased to find had actual chicken in! and crunchy beef in chili and wine sauce. Portions were really good, didn't even have room for toffee apples! The staff were lovely and the it was very relaxing, would recommend to anyone!
North Sea
A very nice place, atmosphere and staff. Only one critisism was that the food was a bit pricey, but as like all restaurants rice etc. is extra, but at £7.00 per main dish which is what you'd expect to pay in a restaurant.

Good food, well presented, fresh and very tasty (if you are sick of Chinese food that all tastes the same - this is the place for you). Staff attend tables cheerfully and efficiently - but do not impose . . . brilliant! Easy and safe parking (unlike our last trip to the city centre). Sizzling squid with ginger and spring onion . . . mmmm! Thanks Northsea!

We went on a cold and wet evening and were welcomed into the warm and delightful restaurant. Prawn crackers arrived even before our drinks did. The service was excellent and overall the food was superb. We tried the £13 early bird and it was more than sufficient in quantity and quality. You can even have a dance on Fridays and Saturdays if you want. And they have a great all you can eat buffet on Sunday and Tuesday .what a place to dine and enjoy the atmosphere, we did.

A night out at the North Sea when the disco is on is a great night out. They also do as much as you can eat buffet on a Tuesday night and all day Sunday. Give this a try, the variety of food is fantastic and at 9.00 each I think is a bargain, you also still receive the same quality of service from the waiting staff. All in all a really pleasant place to visit

The North Sea is the most welcoming restaurant I have ever been. The staff go out of their way to welcome you, the food is delightful, and i was pleasantly suprised by the bill. I would recommend this restaurant to any Chinese food lovers.
North Sea
An evening at the North Sea is always enjoyable. There is a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere whether your party is small or large. Dance nights are a perfect way to enjoy good food and music.
