Unprofessional - Obelisk Hotel - 20 July 2010 I play in a band and we took 2 bookings at the Obelisk Hotel several months ago. When I telephoned them two weeks prior to the first event they tell us it's cancelled. Nobody from the Hotel bothered to contact me to inform me of this, saying "We couldn't find your number" despite clearly leaving my details for them upon booking. This is massively unprofessional behaviour and costs me money as I do it for a living. I could've taken bookings for both those dates and now will have to go without through no fault of mine. I wonder how they treat their hotel guests...
