Can’t beat Oilys….it’s the best eating place in the area..clean, bright, and very tasty and reasonably priced meals…try it .

Visited Oilys on Valentines night. The staff were attentive & polite we enjoyed the food so much ! ! had all three courses, the food was so good as well as the atmosphere,definitely be back soon , keep the good work up :-) Dave

Just want to say what an absolutely fantastic evening the Kendalls had last night. A real surprise for mums birthday.
Great service and food and loads of space for us 17 adults and 2 children alongside all of the diners on this busy evening.
Lovely, lovely staff made the evening and the icing on the cake was how they brought out mums birthday cake, music and all.
Many, many thanks to all and may I add that this was my first visit and I cannot wait for my next.

Me and my family went to Oilys for a family celebration and we all really enjoyed our meals. the staff couldnt do enough to help you from the moment you went in untill the moment we left . would definitely recommend.

19 May 2012 - Family birthday celebration at Oilys. The staff were very friendly and made my family and 2 young grandchldren very welcome. Service was excellent. As a trained chef I thought the food was well presented and cooked to a very high standard. The new menu was very tempting with a wide choice. I would certainly recommend the goats cheese and potato salad and the beef wellington. We all had 3 courses! Well done keep up the excellent food and atmosphere. We'll be back soon!!

My husband and I went to Oily's for the first time in a while, but it certainly wont be the last. The staff are fantastic, warm and very friendly. there was a good choice with the vegetarian options; I had the brie and mushroom wellington with cranberry and red wine sauce...mmmmm...my mouth's watering writing this. The chef Jason Roper could not have been more helpful. What a great team.

long drive up from dorset to see relatives, called in to Oily's for a drink ended up having a very good meal, friendly helpful service and and a nice bottle of wine. Returned the following night even better meal!!.
