About Olive Kitchen and Bar

Olive Kitchen and Bar opened in August 2024 just off the A303 at Martock Workspace, with views out over Ham Hill and the Somerset countryside. Modern and fragrant food from across the Mediterranean and beyond. Breakfast, lunch, mezze, takeaway, cakes, cocktails, local beer and cider, wines, barista coffee and soft drinks with gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options. Served in an indoor tented-style seating area with plenty of outdoor seating too.

We had a wonderful evening at the Olive. The ambiance, the service and tapas were excellent. Unfortunately the Argentinian burger wasn’t so great and I didn’t feel it was value for money. We have been to the Olive on numerous occasions and this is the first time I have had reason to complain about the food and I am hopeful it will be the last.

We went for brunch for my 83 year old mother's birthday and it didn't disappoint at all. She thought the menu was very varied. It was present beautifully and I loved the flowers. It was the right amount of food and the service was professional, yet friendly. Highly recommended.

Great food and service, really enjoyed the afternoon, I have had a couple of experiences of poor service here in the past and went for third time lucky… the (newer?) girls were fabulous and will defs be back!!

First time visited. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was really lovely, very different. I will definitely be going again. Our friend recommended this place as they often go.
