About Olive Tree

The Olive Tree is a family owned Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Bridport in Dorset. Everything is cooked to order here in the open kitchen using fresh, local produce that’s sourced from local growers and fishermen as much as possible with suppliers namechecked on the website. Seafood is a speciality but the lunch and evening menus offer an extensive choice. The Olive Tree is open every day for both lunch and dinner and it’s known throughout the county for it’s great food and friendly service. And if you’re planning a private party or event, there is an upstairs private dining room available.

We were visiting from Canada and picked this place for a birthday dinner. The food was fresh, well-prepared and delicious. The service staff were friendly and efficient. The only nit I would pick was the noisy fan over the entrance. It did not diminish our enjoyment at all but it was there. Highly recommend this establishment.
