About Olive Tree

The Olive Tree is a family owned Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Bridport in Dorset. Everything is cooked to order here in the open kitchen using fresh, local produce that’s sourced from local growers and fishermen as much as possible with suppliers namechecked on the website. Seafood is a speciality but the lunch and evening menus offer an extensive choice. The Olive Tree is open every day for both lunch and dinner and it’s known throughout the county for it’s great food and friendly service. And if you’re planning a private party or event, there is an upstairs private dining room available.

We are regular customers hand have enjoyed our visits every time. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend the food especially the Lamb. Very good wine selection.

We've exhausted places to eat in Bridport and West Bay and hadn't been to the Olive Tree for many years. Great varied menu, opted for the sardines followed by the duck ragu. Food was very good and finished off with an excellent Tiramisu. We will return.

Love this place and brought three new people to experience it. The fish was perfectly cooked. The pasta wonderful. Not too heavy and delicious. The lamb, succulent and perfectly cooked. All felt fresh. And all at reasonable prices too. Friendly and efficient service. Atmosphere is great but a little noisy by the kitchens and of course can be draughty by the door. Something though I’m very happy to put up with.
