About Olive Tree

The Olive Tree is a family owned Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Bridport in Dorset. Everything is cooked to order here in the open kitchen using fresh, local produce that’s sourced from local growers and fishermen as much as possible with suppliers namechecked on the website. Seafood is a speciality but the lunch and evening menus offer an extensive choice. The Olive Tree is open every day for both lunch and dinner and it’s known throughout the county for it’s great food and friendly service. And if you’re planning a private party or event, there is an upstairs private dining room available.

Amazing, couldn't fault the food, wine, service and value for money. We went in on a Monday lunchtime and had the lunch offer which is incredible value for money. My wife had the prawns in a wonderful Moroccan style sauce and I had the Mussels which were wonderful. For main course we had the special which was local Stonefish and I had the pork belly with chorizo .... Amazing. Desert was Creme Brulie and Tiramisu which were unbelievable. The wine was perfect and reasonably priced. A wonderful local restaurant which we'll be visiting again and again.

We had a fantastic meal at the Olive Tree. It was the Thursday tapas evening and every dish was a delight, beautifully. presented, great service and utterly delicious. I highly recommend and hope to visit again when back in Bridport.

Had another lovely meal I had the Sea Bass my wife the Hake. And to start we had the Moroccan Prawns. This is our favourite place to dine for seafood as it is cooked and presented so well. Others might try these folks blow it out of the park. We will be back.

Just fantastic. We were staying in Bridport for our wedding anniversary & looking for a gluten intolerant friendly menu found the Olive Tree. Food and service absolutely faultless, all three courses absolutely delicious and just wish we were nearer to be able to enjoy more often. Special mention to Maisy, just ace.

We really enjoyed our lunch yesterday. I chose two starters for mains as I have a small appetite and they were both delicious. I even had a little room left over to have a taste of my friend's dessert. That too was delicious as was the coffee. A lovely meal,we'll be back and I've already recommended you to fellow fish lovers.

Superb. Great service, fantastic food and a special shout out for the "children's" menu being smaller portions of the menu. Whenever I'm back in Dorset I will be coming back to Olive Tree.
