About Olive Tree

The Olive Tree is a family owned Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Bridport in Dorset. Everything is cooked to order here in the open kitchen using fresh, local produce that’s sourced from local growers and fishermen as much as possible with suppliers namechecked on the website. Seafood is a speciality but the lunch and evening menus offer an extensive choice. The Olive Tree is open every day for both lunch and dinner and it’s known throughout the county for it’s great food and friendly service. And if you’re planning a private party or event, there is an upstairs private dining room available.

Wonderful food, as usual. Good menu, friendly and helpful staff. Every time I’ve been the food has been amazing. My first choice for any celebration or just a really great place for lunch or evening meal. Fantastic, totally recommend.

As we live out in the 'sticks' we are selective where to drive to for a meal. We have no hesitation in choosing the Oliver Tree for special occasions and other family celebrations. Our visit this time was very good and most enjoyable.

Once again another great meal at the Olive Tree which never fails to impress us . New menu with a great choice of interesting, different dishes. We took friends for the first time, one of whom is coeliac who found plenty of dishes to choose from. Great atmosphere and service as usual and the restaurant was full of appreciative diners on a lovely summers evening. Very good food at affordable prices.

Every visit to The Olive Tree is exciting as every meal I have had there has been fabulous. Fresh and delicious seafood is always cooked to perfection. The menu offers a range of flavors but if you want something simple they are happy to oblige. Service is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. The wine list is good, as are the deserts and it is not over priced.
