About Olive Tree

The Olive Tree is a family owned Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Bridport in Dorset. Everything is cooked to order here in the open kitchen using fresh, local produce that’s sourced from local growers and fishermen as much as possible with suppliers namechecked on the website. Seafood is a speciality but the lunch and evening menus offer an extensive choice. The Olive Tree is open every day for both lunch and dinner and it’s known throughout the county for it’s great food and friendly service. And if you’re planning a private party or event, there is an upstairs private dining room available.

We have been regular ( 3 times a year minimum) customers and have never had a bad meal. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, and the food, cooking and presentation is of a very high standard. Highly recommended

We really enjoyed our lunch yesterday. I chose two starters for mains as I have a small appetite and they were both delicious. I even had a little room left over to have a taste of my friend's dessert. That too was delicious as was the coffee. A lovely meal,we'll be back and I've already recommended you to fellow fish lovers.

Superb. Great service, fantastic food and a special shout out for the "children's" menu being smaller portions of the menu. Whenever I'm back in Dorset I will be coming back to Olive Tree.

We have a fantastic meal with starter which was fabulous carrots with tahini then catch if the day cooked to perfection and vegetables which were a perfect compliment. Service excellent as usual Thank you to All the wonderful attentive staff xx
