About Olive Tree

The Olive Tree is housed in a handsome stone and wooden-beamed building overlooking the canal on Bude’s picturesque Lower Wharf. Independently run since 2009, it offers one of the town’s most inviting spots to eat and unwind, whether you’re dropping in after a beach walk, meeting friends for lunch, or enjoying an unhurried evening meal as the sun sets over the water. The light and stylish interior complements the open terrace — a favourite on sunny days — and the menu showcases Cornwall’s best local ingredients with a Mediterranean flourish. Everything is freshly prepared on site with gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian diets all catered for.

What an amazing place we were staying in Bude at the Falcon Hotel and we booked a table at the Olive Tree as we had been before, the food was amazing, and the staff very quick and attentive to your needs and always smiling

Booked for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were one of the first to arrive to eat. Met by very friendly member of staff and shown to our table. We ordered 2 eggs benedict and scrambled eggs on toast with bacon. All food was delicious, eggs perfectly poached and bacon was very tasty. Place filled up quite quickly…. We don’t live in the area but if we were to return would love to try lunch or dinner….
