my family and i have been to many restaurants in and around Blackpool but olivers is one of the best yet . we would recommend it to any one. the staff are very nice and we feel at home there. thank-you for a great mothers day .

Spotlessly clean restaurant with a good choice of top quality food. We found this the icing on the cake yesterday, as part of a very pleasant stay at the Lancaster. It was extremely good value and very convenient to eat before setting off on our night out rather than trying to find some where in town. All 3 of us would recommend Olivers to anyone. Lovely!

Myself and my two children have just come back from a lovely stay, very warm welcome from Barrie and Marie. We didnâ€™t have the opportunity to dine in the restaurant, but the hotel was very clean and rooms were well presented. Great time we all had. Caron 24.10.2009

We stayed at the Lancaster Hotel for two nights and found both the staff and the hotel to be of an excellent standard. We decided to eat in the Olivers Bistro the first night and thought the food was of such a high standard for the price that we went back the following night, the same can be said for the breakfast. All in all if you need a place to stay in Blackpool I would not hesitate to recommend the Lancaster Hotel.

We (two adults and three year old daughter) stayed at the Lancaster House hotel for four days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean and for the price the room was very good. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and was very nice and gave us a good start to the day. We had dinner one night in the Bistro and found it very enjoyable. The food and service were both very good and I would definitely recommend the hotel and Bistro.

My husband, 13 year old son & I visited Blackpool for an early Easter break 7-8/4/09 & stayed at The Lancaster. As we were staying in the hotel we decided to try the restaurant onsite and could not have been happier. The food & service were fantastic and being able to watch the food being prepared was mesmerizing. We sampled both the early bird & steak night menus between us & every dish was superb. We would recommend both the restaurant & the hotel to anyone visiting Blackpool.

visited 25th October 2008, warm welcome followed by prompt service, the food was delicious and piping hot, served fresh and promptly,we stayed in the hotel too and would recommend it to any traveler/family wanting good service the old fashioned way in a modern setting and clean well presented environment ...i shall be back in the summer with friends and know they will enjoy the food as much as i did, many thanks to the chef and staff Rick (chef at skipton)

This restaurant is a truly wonderful experience. The food, the ambience and the service is of "smart city" expectancy. We don't know of a restaurant for miles around that has any comparison. We rate it for it's fresh ingredients, it's open style of perfect cooking....and for all of that, it's not expensive as you would expect for this standard of food. Don't be put off by where it is located. The ONLY special place to dine and truly enjoy fine, very well prepared, professional Cuisine. Amazing.

Dined on Sun 14 Sep 2008 We took two friends from Nottingham who own 3 Restaurants. We had a 3 course Sun lunch which we can only explain as superb. Every course was fully enjoyed by us all. We would fully recommend this bistro and will certainly be going back soon.

I can't believe Olivers is down the road from where i live and today is the first day i have been for something to eat. The surroundings where lovely and the staff were so helpful. My Husband and I had the Sunday lunch which was the best Sunday lunch we have both ever had eating out. Everything was served beautifully and tasted divine i will certainly be recommending this little gem to everyone i know. We cant wait for till Sunday as we have booked in again for our Sunday Lunch!!
