A lovely, refreshing little hideaway, far from all the commercial rubbish littering most seaside towns in this day and age. Beautiful food, friendly welcome and lovely atmosphere! If you're in St Ives, you'd be a fool not to visit!

We were staying down in Carbis Bay for our honeymoon this week and planned to try Olives after spotting it during our holiday last summer. We weren't disappointed. In fact we lunched on consecutive days! This place has everything from delicious food, great ambience and staff who treat you like royalty.Adrian and crew you have got it just right and we will be back soon. Now we will spread the word in Yorkshire! Have a fabulous season!

After starting and running Olives for 4 wonderful years, we would like to thank all the lovely people we have had the pleasure of meeting in that time, we have made great friends and welcomed wonderful customers year after year.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments, although we are no longer Olives proprietors, we will always appreciate our customers and their kind words.

Last April we returned to St Ives almost especially to visit this great little restaurant, only to discover that the owners were stuck in switzerland by the infamous ash cloud. So no delicious evening meal for us that time. However, we are back again this year and will definitely have Olives at the top of our 'eating out' list. It's flippin marvellous!

Cakes 10/10. Baguets 10/10. toilet or facilities to wash hands 0/10. come on guys fix your loo. Sending families to porthgwidden beach to go the loo where there was no soap is unforgivable. where do you wash your hands? Unlike other reviews i found Penny to be miserable and unaccommodating. sorry to be negative but you have let yourselves down, you could have a great business

We visited Olive's during our stay in St Ives. This place is a must! Just up the hill from all the hussle and bussle of St Ives we came across this beautiful restaurant. The second we stepped inside we were made very welcome by the two lovely owners - Johnny and Penny. The hospitality was second to none which matched the taste and quality of the food served. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning in the near future.
