We eat in the Ramblewood, staff were very friendly but the food choices were very limited. In general no complaints with the food except with the soup which was quite highly spiced.

I dined here thinking it was apart of the hotel and I wish I had not the food was awful. And amount of complaints they were experiencing that was lots. My wife had tagutalli with Garlic chicken and the menu stated no spice in the meal but it had lots of chilli spice good job my wife doesn't have allergies. The chicken was like rubber and couldn't cut it. When she finally tasted it it was like chewing gum. They forgot about the extra order of Garlic Bread. I had the Ramblewood burger, well the burger was tough and raw fries. The waiter who served us tried to get us a full refund but only get half a refund and stressed to us that this was the managers good will. We complained to the main hotel staff who stated they are to give a full refund of the food bill. I feel the manager has poor communication skills and should of resolved this.

Very poor food quality. The whole hotel and restaurant smelt of stale fat and the food was clearly cooked in it. The vegetable chilli was dry and the potatoes hard. The soup had so much pepper in it it couldn’t be finished. Shame it was only the Ramblewood open as breakfast was ok

We ate in The Huntley on 1 of our 3 night stay as opening times limited . The food was good although the main was over seasoned . Made a nice change from the Ramblewood. Staff very friendly but some are very young and lack experience .

Menu was basic pub food but it met the brief. Waiting staff were friendly and responsive. Ideal location for the hotel.

Nice pub for a drink but food was disappointing and overpriced for quality. Chicken ceasar salad was terrible and the garlic bread had an excessive amount of grease. Staff were nice though.
