I had been told about the otter and fish by a friend ,i live in York but will travel for nice food . Well five of us wanted up and booked a room at the croft spa and dine up at the otter on the Friday night. All i can say about the meal is wonderful, from the great food till the nice waitress called charlotte. With a great chef and this wonderful waitress this place will go far. But there is one down side it is a bit far from York to eat a few time a week.... pity.. but i will be back.

Superb atmosphere with food and service to match. What a transformation since the new owners have refurbished the whole business. They must have spent a fortune on the place, but very wisely. Highly recommended.
