About Papa Luigis

Papa Luigis has been a popular fixture of the Wigan dining scene for more than a decade. It’s situated in a modern building near the hospital on one of Wigan's main thoroughfares and with its open kitchen and traditional Italian cooking it has a real buzz and atmosphere. As well as a wide selection of classic pizzas and pasta, there’s a choice of steaks, chicken and fish dishes as well as signature mains like their Surf n Turf, a 10 oz fillet steak cooked to your liking served with two giant king prawns in a creamy garlic sauce. And for afters you choose from a range of Italian ice creams as well as home-made desserts. As well as the main a la carte, there are good-value Early Bird and Sunday menus, a Bambini menu and on Mondays a crazy £5.95 deal for any pizza or pasta which sees the place packed to the rafters!

As always food and service was great and very good value. Have never had a negative experience at Pappa Ls. Was also unexpectedly busy for a damp January weekend but this wasn't an issue it was good to see.

Food was lovely as always but service was very slow, we were there around 45 mins before we were delivered our starters and drinks order, and tables around us who had arrived later had received their food before us (table of three).

Lovely evening spent at Papa Luigis with friends for a pre Christmas night out. Staff were friendly. Food choices was great , plenty to choose from. Good wine list , Very reasonable priced so all in all well done would definitely recommend.
