About Pastiche Bistro

Pastiche is a name familiar to Staffordshire diners since way back in the 1990s. Now the original owners, John Ashmore and Brian Woods, have recruited an ambitious young team and returned to the building where it all began on Mill Street in Stafford. Expect natural ingredients and traditional cooking methods with French-inspired, fixed-price menus that are available at both lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. You’ll be spoilt for choice with plenty of starters, mains and desserts to choose from. The team at Pastiche are looking forward to catching up with old friends – and meeting new ones!

My recent visit to Pastiche was my first time since opening and I am pleased to say it lived up to my expectations. I had seen a lot of good reviews and can say I was not disappointed. The surroundings and ambiance was pleasent and comfortable and the service was fast and efficient. There was a good selection to chose from on the menu. I tend to pick meals I don't oridinarily eat at home and was pleased to say I had the choice of four dishes, which made it difficult to make my final decision. I have only one comment to make about the meal overall and that is I chose the rice pudding for my dessert. Whilst it was nice, it was cold. I would have expected it to be warm but, I still enjoyed it. The meal was well priced bearing in mind the difficult circumstances businesses are having to trade in now. My own weekly shopping bill increases every week so to be able to go to such a restaurant and be able to enjoy such good food at reasonable prices is a credit to the management. I enjoyed my first visit to Pastiche and, I will be going again and taking friends there. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pastiche.

So pleased this place is back! Wanted something a little special for my sons 16th birthday, and this didn't disapoint. Friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere, great food. We were spoiled for choice. A member of our group required a little something different and they were able to accommodate this for us no problem. Great value for money, would highly recommend and will be returning.
