As a regular visitor and big fan of Ping Pong I thought I'd share my experience after another enjoyable evening there this weekend. I have always found the service there to be spot on and once again we were shown to a table right away, given menus and asked if we had visited the restaurant before (they will explain the ordering process otherwise). Having not been to this particular branch of Ping Pong before (Hampstead) I was impressed by the simple yet modern decor and general cleanliness of the place. Cocktails as usual were great - I had a Shiso Cosmopolitan (very decorative!) and my friend a non-alcoholic strawberry, peach and orange juice. The food arrived promptly and was extremely enjoyable, particularly the king prawn and chive dumplings and little vegetable spring rolls. The food is light yet filling but we of course made room for dessert - a delicious chocolate pudding! The bill came in at around £35 for the two of us - very reasonable for drinks, several main dishes and a dessert and well worth it in my opinion. A service charge is added to the bill but I think this is fair as the staff are always attentive and helpful. This is a great night out for anyone wanting a relaxed evening in nice surroundings without the big expense. Keep up the good work Ping Pong!
