Nice meal, booked during half term in May, staff friendly, but on the expensive side for us. Main meal two adults two children, 3 glasses of wine, one beer and two lemonades £79.

We went to this restaurant on a Sunday evening and were extremely lucky to get a table as we were advised to book. As you enter this restaurant it's like entering another world. It's dimly lit by lots of lovely candles and the decor is truly original which makes it very atmospheric. It's the perfect place for a romantic meal. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. There is lots to choose from, especially if you like fish. The food / wine was lovely and the portions were a good size. I can thoroughly recommend the creme brulee for dessert. Although this is a lovely restaurant and somewhere to go for a special occassion you need to save up before going as it's definitely not cheap, but all in all I think it's worth it. Definitely worth a visit if you can afford it.

Remarkable Tudor interior. Excellent local organic meat. Daily fish specials. Very family friendly.
