What a lovely place! We had dinner there last night and left completely satisfied. The food was of excellent quality(and quantity), the service was good and great value for money. They have made a local out of me. Well done!!!

This place is fantastic. Was there last Friday and could barely get in the place, and little wonder. They run two menus: bar and restaurant, both equally as impressive from what I could see. Plus a specials board that I’m reliably told by a local friend of mine changes on a regular basis. Classy restaurant set-up on the first floor and laid back ground floor bar. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was great. I had the rabbit pie, my partner the turbot. Desserts were divine. Excellent value for money when you consider some of the ingredients they are using. Have already booked my place for Christmas. Highly recommend.

Apparently recently refurbished and to a pretty high standard with some nice touches giving a very comfortable and cool ambience. Food is served downstairs in the bar area or upstairs in a well thought through dining room. Food is very good verging on the excellent - tried the rabbit and wild mushroom pie and mash, which was class, along with any of the desserts that are dangerously moorish. Prices were not dear for what you get. On the whole def worth a visit.
