We came here 18 months ago, had a lovely Sunday lunch and for no good reason hadn't been back until this weekend. A great, 3 course Sunday lunch again, everything tasted fresh and vibrant. A good house malbec went well with the roast beef and the excellent half bottle of gewurztraminer that we enjoyed went very well with the roast pork. The service is very friendly and the young, alert staff seem to have been well trained. This place seems seriously under-rated compared to some of its better known peers in the area.

Short menu, great and varied food, friendly, welcoming staff, terrific atmosphere, good wines and beers: along with The Hardwick at Abergavenny it's the best for miles around.
