Actually the Raj Vojan isn't in tunbridge wells its in pembury. I would strongly recommend it purely because it is my singular favourite restaurant, I have eaten at quite a few Indian restaurants in brick lane which is supposed to be brilliant but it just doesn't compare really. At the Raj Vojan the dishes tend to be a lot hotter than average, for instance their chicken madras would be an average vindaloo. I have been a regular customer and friend of the owners for many years and their food has never failed to disappoint. If you happen to eat there I would recommend the chicken madras, chicken vindaloo, any jalfrezi, shik kebab starter (to die for!) as well as onion bhajis which are served with a really nice dip. In recent years the business became a restaurant and as a very fussy eater and harsh critic i can honestly say that this restaurant is my all time favourite place to eat and I am convinced its completely unbeatable!
