Was totally gutted! I went to Rattle Gill today for my usual double shot latte and slice of homemade cake, only to find they were closed! What a shock - I just didn't know what to do with myself! Ended up waiting until I got home for a coffee and some left over flapjack my wife made.... If you have not yet been - Try it out, a lovely little cafe tucked away in Ambleside - Just make sure you wait until Feb when they re-open!!

Best little cafe in Ambleside! Off the beaten track. Definitely worth a visit...and the jacket with roasted vegetables, hummus and pesto is a must!

This place is an absolute hidden gem, the foods amazing the ambiance is perfect - go for a hike, then seek this place out and put you're feet up (order the banoffee pie, you've earnt it and I promise you won't be disappointed!)

Very friendly new owners. Cafe is very clean and has a good menu of freshly prepared foods including veggie options and home cooked cakes. Nice to sit outside and watch the world go by!
