The Red Chilli 3 is now under new management and renamed 'RED'. There is a huge banner outside publicising the new buffet menu consisting of '65 dishes'!
We went in on a Friday night, the cost of which is £9.95 per person, same for children. Only under fives can eat free though.
It was the MOST DISAPPOINTING experience EVER. We have never eaten such rock solid paneer tikka in our lives, rubbery, unchewable chicken pakoras and teeth chipping onion bhajis - not a surprise though as there was hardly anyone else in the restaurant - Goodness knows for how long the stale food had been there, left to slowly harden and rot.
The main course was even worse. It was cold, looked unappetising and tasted like cold, curried cardboard. It seemed like they have one base sauce in which they shove and slother different meats and vegetables and present them as various dishes from an 'Authentic Cuisine'! Authentic indeed!
Finally, in spite of 7-8 people uniformed to service, there was no one to clear the tables - why? because all the waiters gathered around another table to have their meal as we started!! which meant no one to serve drinks, no one to remove used plates - we just helped ourselves by shifting used plates on the adjacent table.
Altogether, it was the most unpeasantly unforgettable experience - RED Bradford? never again - EVER!

Don't waste your hard earned cash! Went last night and decided to try buffet as we had an hour before our movie started. Showed to table - seat was wet, asked waiter to wipe it or change it - he wiped it. Ordered drinks, went up for starters, all pretty standard. Went up for mains, a fair choice but nothing amazing. Came back and found our table had been cleared, including our drinks!! Notified waiter, who went to look for them, he then brought back our half drunk glasses!! didn't bother topping them up or anything to apologise.
The food is nothing to get excited about in Bradford, there are so many places that do it much better. Finally decided to have dessert as we were told it was included, only to then be told that all cakes were an additional £2.95 - the ones on the bottom shelf seemed to be swimming in a yellow goo. Left promptly and will definitely NOT be returning. Awful place, awful food and awful service.

The food was average and the service was terrible.
We were never given any popadoms to start, which is a first for me as every other Indian restaurant provides popadoms as standard. We had to wait an age for the waiter to come and take our food and drink order.
When the food arrived it was average. The naans looked lovely however tasted bland. My Lamb Achari had pieces of pickled lime so hard that i almost broke a tooth!!!
After the meal i asked for the bill and once it arrived i was ignored for approx 30mins, until eventually taking the money directly to the bar. Sadly, for the staff, i didnt leave a tip and most certainly wont be returning here. HAd the food been great i mght have considered going back but as it was not i will take my business to Zouk or Akbars which are consistently EXCELLENT!!!
To summarise, dont go here, its crap!

I would recommend Chilli 3 for anyone who enjoys a good curry in a nice relaxed atmosphere. The service is prompt and the waiters are very tentative. The restaurant is very contemporary and clean, I went on a Friday evening and it was nice and relaxed with a mix of people, there were couples and families enjoying their meals. Car Parking is th the side of the restaurant and it is on the main Leeds Road heading to Leeds from Bradford. The Menu is quite comprehensive and covers all the traditional dishes and a few more exotic variety for the curry connissure. Chilli 3 does have a Alcohol Licence and the price of Lagers, Beers and Spirits is the same as pub prices which is good when you want to cool down your mouth. All in all its quite good I would give it a 8 out of 10.
