I would definitely recommend the Red Lion as the service and food is superb and the owners are very helpful and professional..In the autumn/winter there is a cosy fire

DO NOT TRY TO GET FOOD HERE MOVE RIGHT ON TO THE GOLDEN LION DOWN THE ROAD.......we tried before 1pm on Wednesday 31 March, after travelling from Norfolk with two elderly visitors, they would not even give us coffee and a couple of bowls of chips, and this is the second time it has happened to us at this pub, it will not happen a third as we will go straight to Diane and the staff at the Golden Lion who were also busy but much more welcoming.....
