Great character Pub with a somewhat quirky interior.
Good food at a realistic price with excellent service.
Set 2 and 3 course meals offering good value.
Just off the tourist route but near Haytor Rocks, so good to combine a walk with a meal,
Has a nice garden opposite.
Parking is somewhat limited but available.
Haven't stayed here, but believe the rooms are comfortable.
Happy to recommend as well worth a visit.

A superb hideaway in Dartmoor. I have been going to the Rock inn for ten years now and everything is always first class. The food is outstanding and the accommodation is very comfortable. Having lived in the Basque Country -which is second to none in terms of cuisine in Spain; the rock emulates their standards in freshness and quality. A night at the rock for 2 with 3 course dinner and breakfast is the best value for money I have found in Devon (approx £140). Well done and see you soon. Colin Campbell EXETER
