We use this as our local takeaway and restaurant and always the food is excellent and the service second to none. I would never have any hesitation in recommending this restaurant to friends

It's good to try different places to eat, BUT I always feel cheated! the Rupali has been my local/regular Indian restaurant for 20 years Brilliant service and food!I cant recommend it enough.
In these hard financial times you want value and quality for your money. MO, his family and staff provide top quality in abundance!!!!

I went to the Rupali on Friday night and had one of the specials with rice. I have to say that the dish was one of the best curry dishes I have ever tasted. It is a must have, just ask the waiter for the 'swan dish' and you will honestly not regret it, very good service & reasonably priced food a winning combo.

The Rupali has lost its way with a one page over priced menu.
The food is poor for the amount paid the sauces are all the same,
The Service is really good if your mates with the staff, however if your not then you just get neglected like you have no worth.
The decor is 30 years old, you can tell this by the old run down interior,
Would i go back? NO i would not waste my time or money. To add insult to injury they even give you half your uneaten food when you leave, talk about buy one get one free!
Brommo
The food at this long established restaurant is quite simply fantastic.
The staff, headed by Mo are not only polite and friendly but have an in depth knowledge of the extensive menu.
A great location just 1 minute walk from the main Kingswood center.

Personally i have been going to Rupali for as long as i remember my family have been going there since its opened. We use to think the food was utterly amazing until we went there for a member of my family's birthday recently, we found the food was different and not how we remember, it was worse, so we will not be returning.... the night before last we decided to check out the competition further down the road and went to eastern spice. it was lovely, the atmosphere is lovely and the food well it was perfect. apparently many former Rupali customers now get their currys form here.. they also do student discount which is a plus for us who are still studying.

Having read positive recommendations of this restaurant, I phoned to book a table but could not get a reply. On the off chance of getting a table, a friend and I arrived at 9pm and were told we were in luck. An hour later we were still waiting for our food by which time we had to leave for my friend to get home to her babysitter. Having explained we could not wait any longer and wishing to pay for our drinks I was asked "What do you think this is McDonald's?" No I couldn't believe it either! Service appalling but top marks for rudeness. Needless to say I do not recommend this restaurant! How they have lasted so long astounds me! Presumably they do not rely on customer service for their continuing business!

well, What can I say! Good food best dish is the Lamb Korma. Service 100% Amazing, these guys know whats what and do it so well in presentation not only of themselves but of the food also. Set in a traditional setting with great old Indian music. 10 of 10 and an easy 5* Only problem - the toilets try and stay away. But apart from that, Top Stuff from the Rupali guys, Keep up the good work.

We have been going to the Rupali for getting on for 20 years now. Our kids have been eating curries from the age of 4 and now the Rupali is our first choice for a family meal out. The food is superb, the best in Bristol, and the service is very friendly. Try it once and you'll be hooked, just like the many, many other regular customers!
