We stayed nearby and chose to give the Ryden Inn a try for an Evening meal. We were welcomed not only by friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere, but most enjoyably an exciting specials board. We had Lamb Cutletts in Madeira Sauce and Wild Mushrooms and Sea Bass with Crab and Saffron sauce. We were both extremely impressed with our meals.I would go as far as saying it was near perfect, very tasty at a great price. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would recommend eating here to anyone.

We have eaten several times here, both lunch times and evenings . The food is fantastic and the service is faultless. I just have to ask and they always have a good choice on the menu for me being wheat/gluten free. Not the usual plain offerings I get at most other places. We love eating here.

This is our second visit in 3 years whilst on holiday in Devon and we actually went out of our way this time to visit the Rydon Restaurant,the staff are very friendly(Husband and wife).
Plenty to choose from and specials on the board I personally would recommend the sea bass and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

We ate at this restaurant this lunchtime 17.5.07. The portions were good, The sweet portion was enormous, but being in Devon we thought there would have been clotted cream. We will be returning at a future date. Well worth a visit
