About Sage and Vine

Sage and Vine is a new Carlisle eatery specialising in Mediterranean tapas, mezze and pizza. There are nine different pizzas to choose from, all served piping hot from the Valoriani wood-fired pizza oven and they also do sharing boards and dips as well as small plates such as Patatas Bravas, Cod Cheeks and Glazed Chorizo. The food is complemented by a good selection of wines, beers and cocktails. Sage and Vine is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday, right through from 12 noon.

We dined there on a Thursday night, we had a voucher to use. The food was lovely, really fresh and tasty. Drinks were good too. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with the menu. The pizza was amazing!! We will be back. Thank you

Staying overnight nearby and found the highly rated Sage & Vine on Google Maps, so booked a table for 3 online. Made most welcome upon our arrival and selected 6 tapas dishes to share from the specials board and from the regular menu. Not disappointed, well presented and delicious. We then followed up with a "Local" pizza to share and again an excellent Italian style thin based pizza cooked in the wood fired oven. A very enjoyable evening and we promise to return.

Visited 13 feb with my friend from Scotland. We wasn’t keen on the calamari but everything was lovely and the cheeses were delicious. The Wine and the atmosphere was great. Staff were very helpful and provide advice on the wine choices. Food came at a reasonable pace. We stayed along time nibbling and catching up.
