About Sage and Vine

Sage and Vine is a new Carlisle eatery specialising in Mediterranean tapas, mezze and pizza. There are nine different pizzas to choose from, all served piping hot from the Valoriani wood-fired pizza oven and they also do sharing boards and dips as well as small plates such as Patatas Bravas, Cod Cheeks and Glazed Chorizo. The food is complemented by a good selection of wines, beers and cocktails. Sage and Vine is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday, right through from 12 noon.

Another wonderful meal at sage&vine. Fantastic food, great atmosphere and attentive service. We ordered food to share between 4 of us, the charcuterie board with olives were delightful, as was the pizza, albindigas, halloumi fries and the parmesan and truffle oil skin on fries. We all thoroughly enjoyed all the food and we enjoyed the cocktail on the specials board. Truly delicious! This was our 3rd visit and we will definitely be back.

Went to Sage and Vine Fri lunchtime for the first time, husband really enjoyed his macho pizza and I really loved the cod cheeks and the mushrooms crostini. The decor and service was lovely too. great menu.We will be back to try more gorgeous food, thanks for lovely meal

Booked a table here for dinner after my Graduation and it was a beautiful meal. The pizza’s were very tasty, hot and big enough to share. For 3 people to have a main meal each and drinks it came to £62 which we thought was a brilliant price. If we are ever in Carlisle again, we would definitely come back to the sage and vine.
