Beautifully fresh fish, crisp vegetables, excellent wine, attentive but not overwhelming service, fabulous creme brulee - all in very attractive, comfortable modern surroundings. The log burning stove made it cosy. The welcome was equally warm. I'll definitely make a point of going back to the Salamander and recommending it to others.

Excellent small restaurant in Mevagissey. The service and welcome were both friendly and efficient. The duck was cooked to perfection and was so tasty and tender. The owner said that she had sourced "happy ducks" and obviously happy ducks make tasty ducks!!
My wife thoroughly enjoyed her sea bass fillets with lemon and parsley sauce. The accompanying vegetables were well cooked and tasty.
Well worth a visit!! We will be returning soon!!
